On June 9th Nutri-Lawn held a BBQ and Giant Yard Sale with all proceeds going to the local foodbank. Rambo the chef from the Hilltop Grill & Beverage donated his time to fire up the grill and be our cook for the day. We had contacted all our customers in the Fredericton area to donate items to help support such a great cause. Our customers support was overwhelming and we received many calls for our sale. After the sale community living picked up what was left over so the remainder of the items could be used to help someone else in need! Doing our part to nourish lawns and lives we donated $600 to the local foodbank by doing our small part. On Wednesday July 25, 2012 a cheque was presented to Elizabeth Crawford Thurber Executive Director by our staff. Elizabeth took us on a tour of their new facility and what their plans for the future entail. Working together can make a difference!
